At the center of this new universe is Decimation Earth.  A bleak, post-apocalyptic landscape, where Superstates have replaced the old world nation-states of the 20th century, creating a dystopian society trapped in a perpetual Cold War state ruled by corruption and a failing global economy. It is a world full of the supernatural, where arcane science, super-beings, and strange creatures (Gugs, Ghouls, moon-beasts, Fire Vampires, and other hideous monsters) co-exist with what remains of humanity.
